  • Dan Graham Retrospective

    Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art
Rua Dom João de Castro, 210
    January 12–March 25, 2001

Although best known for his glass pavilions, Dan Graham’s work in media from performance and photography to designs for exhibitions, stage sets, and magazines seems as prescient today as ever. This large survey, organized by guest curators Corinne Diserens and Marianne Brouwer, will cover thirty-five years of Graham’s career. The catalogue brings together essays by Thierry de Duve and Brian Hatton among others, an interview conducted by Benjamin Buchloh, and a chronology documenting the artist’s work from the mid-’60s to the present.
