Fundamentalism is not often associated with the Nordic region, but recent political developments in Denmark and Norway may make this state of affairs but a happy memory. Curated by Lars Bang Larsen, Cristina Ricupero, and Charlotte Brandt, this survey looks at contemporary right-wing populism but is also meant to serve as a larger platform for discussions about the economy, politics, and art. Thirty-five artists are featured, from Scandinavians Stig Sjölund, Jens Haaning, and Amel Ibrahimovic to Dan Graham, whose Interior Design for Space Showing Videos, 1986–87, includes the videos of French philosopher Gilles Deleuze.
