Stephen Sheldon
Little Gallery
The technical dexterity of some of the drawings by Stephen Sheldon reflects the artist’s commercial experience. The bullfight series, in particular, has a kind of drama with a touch of humor that could lend itself to either animation or, because of Sheldon’s interest in detail, to costume design for the theater. Outside of a certain decorative charm, they add little to the field of graphics, however colorful they are momentarily.
