    There is a consistent theme—nature and time—in all of Choi Jae-Eun’s installations. Using live and organic materials, which change during the course of an exhibition, she creates works that embody the concept of “ephemeral nature.”

    Born in Seoul, Choi left South Korea at the age of 19, and after spending some time in the West, came to Japan. There she studied fashion and jewelry design, and then attended the Sogetsu school of flower arrangement.
