LINGUISTICALLY, SUBJECTIVELY, and territorially, borders are where identities are formed and differences policed, and the current midcareer survey of Enrique Chagoya titled “Borderlandia” reflects the Mexican-born, California-based artist’s ongoing exploration of concepts of identity and difference.
