It's an interesting idea and perhaps I'd feel more of the work's power were I in the room. But I can't help notice the slapdash nature of the brushstroke and feel that it somehow reflects a typical art-world allowance of shoddy craft in the name of high concept. Even still, I'd much rather have walked into the Beatles' Apple Boutique on Baker Street in 1967, where Dutch art collective The Fool gave an immersive environment that was equal parts transcendence and detail.
