From Malin Gallery: Arthur Monroe, The Ancestors Are Humming

The Ancestors Are Humming presents a series of large scale paintings by the late Oakland-based artist Arthur Monroe. The paintings in the exhibition at Malin Gallery are drawn from a thirty year span of the artist’s career, during which time he lived and worked at the historic Oakland Cannery.
