From Sotheby’s: Chatsworth

The Devonshire Collection has been passed down through sixteen generations of the Cavendish Family and encompasses fine art, design, and jewelry from the past five centuries. Forty-five masterworks from the collection will be on view in “Treasures from Chatsworth” at Sotheby’s newly expanded and reimagined New York galleries, from June 29 to September 18. In this video, the 12th Duke of Devonshire previews the works coming to New York, from Rembrandt van Rijn to Lucian Freud.
